The Stakeholders Institute offers Open Lecture 2/15

The Stakeholders Institute invites you to a special open session of their successful program. This event will feature a conversation with Todd Fabozzi, an urbanist, social ecologist andlong-time advocate of sustainable design. Fabozzi is an accomplished writer and has lectured extensively on suburban sprawl and its consequences. Attendees will also examine excerpts from Megamall (2009), a story of money, powerl and politics that explores the contravery behind one of the country’s biggest shopping malls, the Palisades Center in West Nyack, NY.

About the Speaker:

Todd Fabozzi is an urbanist, social ecologist, writer, teacher and drummer. As a long-time advocate of sustainable design, he has lectured extensively on suburban sprawl and its consequences. He’s written numerous urban planning and watershed protection studies; is an expert on the use of Geographic Information Systems; has taught in classrooms from elementary to graduate school; and has been performing and recording as a drummer and percussionist for over thirty-five years. He lives in the city of Amsterdam, NY, where he was born in 1963.

The Stakeholders, Inc., has been designated as one of 10 organizations tapped to operate as a statewide Regional Volunteer Center (RVC) by the New York State, as well as an affiliate of the HandsOn Network of the National Points of Light Institute. Read the full release.
