Panel Discussion Showcasing New Leaders in the Arts

Wednesday, April 18, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

SH Institute LogoThe Stakeholders Institute invites you to join a panel discussion on Wednesday, April 18th entitled: The Changing of the Guard: The New Face of the Capital Region Arts. The event will be held from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at Proctor’s GE Theater in Schenectady.

Over the past year, several Capital Region arts organizations have had a turnover in leadership. This has led to an influx of fresh and new leaders from outside the region coming to take the reigns of these cornerstone arts institutions. This open lecture and panel discussion will engage these new Capital Region arts leaders about the current state of the arts, where they see it going, and what they are bringing to the table. Our moderator Philip Morris, whom just celebrated his 10th anniversary as CEO of Proctors, will offer his perspective on this “changing of the guard” and what it means for the arts.

Individuals interested in signing up for the lecture can email Michael Weidrich at arts@thestakeholders.org. Reservations are required to be made by Monday, April 16th.

Panelists include:
